I have been exclusively keeping and breeding Indian Ringneck Parakeets in South Wales since 1992 when I purchased a pair of green birds and set about breeding from them. I steadily built up a stud of birds, purchasing several different mutations.

I was relatively unsuccessful for the first few years but after learning from my mistakes and gleaning knowledge from more experienced breeders I soon began to obtain some good results and started producing more and more combination mutations to add to my growing collection.
I have a modest stud of between 60 and 140 (depending on the season) birds by comparison to some breeders but I am still able to produce over 40 different mutation combinations. I am a member of The Parrot Society UK and regularly attend shows where I offer for sale surplus birds and I'm happy to discuss Ringnecks and give advice to anyone who wishes to know something about this wonderful hobby.
My other passions are cycling and walking my dog Taz (a miniature pinscher) in the South Wales hills and valleys and other mad cap adventure sports.
Sadly Taz became seriously ill in Late November 2011 and despite many tests and medication and his tough battling spirit he past away on 20 January 2012.
He was a huge part of our lives, was irreplaceable and will be sorely missed.
